About the Role
Position Overview
As a Project Superintendent at Origins Construction, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for keeping our projects running on time, on budget, and up to the highest quality standards. You’ll coordinate daily operations, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and serve as the key point of communication with clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, values precision, and leads by example.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all onsite construction activities and ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Develop, manage, and update short-term and master project schedules; proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and internal crews for seamless jobsite operations
- Maintain site safety and cleanliness; lead weekly safety meetings and submit reports
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison for the Owner/Client, maintaining open and timely communication
- Monitor work quality, ensure all installations meet design intent and code requirements
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation in Procore (or designated project management software)
- Submit RFIs, manage submittals, and document project progress
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on schedules, planning meetings, and site logistics
- Be physically present onsite during all active work; coordinate coverage during brief absences as needed
- Assist in jobsite setup and teardown according to internal standards
- Uphold company policies and represent Origins professionally on every site
- Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Project Manager
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction supervision
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in construction management is a plus
OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and scopes of work
